On February 27 the Department of Finance Canada released the 2018 Federal Budget, titled Equality + Growth: A Strong Middle Class.
This budget contains significant investments to support women entrepreneurs, pay equity, the Canada Child Benefit, infrastructure in Indigenous communities, science and research, environmental conservation, international development, and much more. The Budget also outlines the creation of the Canada Workers Benefit, which will replace the Working Income Tax Benefit.
