February 6, 2017 (Kitchener Waterloo) – The Honourable Bardish Chagger, P.C., M.P. has partnered with Canadian Blood Services to help ensure lifesaving blood products are available to hospital patients in need. As part of her dedication to her community, Chagger has generously adopted the Kitchener Waterloo blood donor clinic on Saturday, February 18th and has committed to recruit new donors and fill appointments to help collect 48 blood donations at the clinic.
“We are pleased and proud to have the opportunity to help give life in this way,” says Chagger. “Too many Canadians will need, at a moment in their life, a blood transfer and the support of blood banks all over the country. I am pleased and proud to have the opportunity to help give life by adopting this clinic. I encourage everyone in the community to participate in this endeavour and show support to those in need by making an appointment today.”
